💼 FrontDoor+ Payments

With this method, ticket-sale funds stay on the FrontDoor+ ticketing platform until your event is over. After the event, we send you one payout covering all your ticket sales.

👍 Pros

  • No Stripe account needed. Setup is fast and easy.
  • Accounting is simple. You get one clean payout after the event.
  • Great for volunteers or first-time organizers. Very little financial setup required.

👎 Cons

  • You only receive funds after the event. That means you cannot access ticket sales money in advance.
  • The payout timing is fixed. If you need cash earlier for expenses, this method may feel limiting.

🔌 Stripe Payments

With this option you connect your own Stripe account (https://stripe.com) to FrontDoor+. Ticket sales flow straight into your Stripe account. Stripe then sends payouts to your bank on their usual schedule.

Getting set up does take a little more time. Stripe needs details about your organization and they verify your identity and banking info. It is very doable, and we help our clients through the setup so no one is left on their own. Once it is done, you are fully in control of your payouts and accounting.

This model also shifts the card-processing risk away from FrontDoor+. It gives you more direct ownership of your payments, which many organizations prefer once they understand how it works.

  • Faster access to your money.  Funds arrive during the sales period rather than after the event.
  • More control over payouts.  You can see and manage everything directly from your Stripe account.

👎 Cons

  • Setup takes a bit longer since Stripe needs to verify your account.
